Travel toys have a different job from everyday ones. They need to be compact, durable and easy to clean with limited access to water.
Size and weight
Compact toys fit in a small pouch and rarely take up much room in a bag. Choose one with a flat or rounded base so it does not roll.
Cleaning on the road
Pick a non-porous material so you can wipe it clean. Keep a dedicated cleaning cloth and a mild, toy-safe cleaner.
Charging and batteries
Rechargeable toys need a cable and a plug that suits the destination. Battery toys are easier to pack but need spares.
