Silicone is non-porous, so odours usually come from the surface or the packaging. Here is how to freshen a silicone toy properly.

Silicone holds odour less than porous materials, so a lingering smell often means the surface needs a thorough wash.
Wash first
Wash with warm water and mild soap, rinse well, and dry fully.
If the smell stays
Air the toy for a day in a clean, dry place. If it still smells, check for damage or stop using it.
